Speed and Strength Training
This is a customized, comprehensive, 5-, 6-, or 7-week program designed to help you gain speed, strength, agility, and explosiveness. This program emphasizes proper form and techniques, and provides a variety of exercises to target the different muscle groups specific to pole vault.
Tailored to your specific needs and goals, you can be sure you're getting the best training possible.
Stength sessions take place in our facility, and your coach will arrange a schedule that best fits you both. Generally, these session take place before or after a regular jump session on Sunday afternoons, or after a jump session on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Alternative options can be arranged.
Speed sessions: after an initial session for in-person demos and instruction, most of this work will be done on your own, with Coach Cam and Trainer Faith in constant contact with you, reviewing your progress, adjusting on the fly, striving to keep you engaged and injury-free.
